Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary has worked with the Rotary Club of Lublin Centrum (Poland) for several years on the Peace Shelter for widows and orphans of the Ukrainian War.
The Rotary Club of Lublin notified CHNR that its partner hospital in Drohobych, Ukraine had been without power, running water or heat due to Russian attacks on civil infrastructure.
Our clubs and other international partners took emergency action to purchase and install a generator, providing a reliable source of power and warmth for those most vulnerable.
This vital support helped the hospital continue providing healthcare, comfort, and essential services during an incredibly difficult time.
It is a powerful example of Rotary’s commitment to humanitarian service and making a difference when help is needed most.
